As animal lovers ourselves, we know that a pet becomes part of the family. It takes a special approach to capture there ‘personality’. ‘Pets’ have over the years meant spiders

( big ones ! ) rats, dogs, cats, birds, horses even tigers - and yes they were playing and jumping all over its owner - and us if we had let it !!!!

As you can appreciate, the ‘pet’  determines how we go about any photography.

Its easy just to take snaps, anyone and most do. We go about this with the view that any pictures should not only be a ‘study’ but a pleasing almost ‘generic’ view which should be visually interesting - like those appealing images found on birthday cards or sold by poster companies. We do this by approaching each subject with a creative view of using props and super wide angle lenses ( like those seen in our small preview below - where NO post production has take place to gain these perspectives ).

We can incorporate the owners or children at play - keeping the main point of interest still on the pet.

If you have a interesting pet or animal of any kind and would like some wall art photography created - either taken in our studio or on location / within your home - give us a call. We like a challenge so if you are looking for something different - give us a call.

Just for the record - we will not photograph illegally imported animals, endangered ( unless in some sort of breeding or conservation programme ) or anything taken from the wild coursing unsustainable population lose.

We of course photograph animals from all sorts of backgrounds, even those mistreated and even under dissection, but that's a different service and only if we feel its in the best interest of that species, its habitat or for the benefit of mankind ........... in that order !
